Although the vacancy sign is on, I felt the need to take a moment to post a few photos documenting the past two weeks of the Coppelclan Inn madness. It has been a blast having our loved ones in the house - from finding my bridesmaids dresses with Susan, to deep talks with Hems, to catching up with my Hals, the experience was beyond everything we could have hoped for. Although we love living in Miami, the absence of many of our friends and family is never far from our hearts.

Me and Halle - I was depressed because she was leaving the next day. I was begging her to move to Miami (you ALL have heard this plea before!)
Drinking coconut water the next morning (they are from the trees in our yard) - a perfect conclusion to two straight weeks of action.

On a very different note, I am officially in love with Facebook. It has put me back in touch with countless old friends, and I love feeling so connected to the people I love so much (but happen to be far away). This week on Facebook, one of my friends started a thread on pet peeves. We each made a list of 25 of our biggest pet peeves and passed it on. It was actually really fun to think about my peeves - I think you can really get to know someone by knowing what irks him/her. My list is below - which ones do you relate to and which ones do you think are nuts? What are YOUR pet peeves?

3. When people say they will do something and don't
4. The song "Get Out" by JoJo - ugh.
5. Vacuum face - this is a love/hate relationship.
6. Animal hair on the floor
7. People who write checks at the grocery - get a debit card!
8. When someone doesn't use his/her blinker
9. People who drive slowly in the left lane
10. When telephone solicitors mispronounce my last name - is it really that difficult?! And ... considering I'm marrying a Coppelman, it's not going to get any better.
11. Racism
12. People who text me and, when I call them right after, won't answer the phone
13. Ketchup
14. Lindsay Lohan
15. I hate it when someone says, "Giddy Up" - I used to have a boss that said this and it drove me nuts
16. Littering
17. Wedgies
18. D.J's that talk over music
19. Mandarin Oranges in salad
20. People who feel entitled
21. When American tourists get angry overseas when someone doesn't speak English but demand that foreigners speak English in the U.S.

25. People who don't pick up their dog's poop
