It's official, I am in a funky, holiday-induced COMA. I can't get back into the swing of things, no matter how hard I try. It's like having a million cases of the Mondays, all at the same time. Ugh.
I'm probably feeling a little out of it because we didn't really give ourselves enough time to rest this weekend; we wanted to catch up with our friends and hang out so, naturally, Monday comes and I'm ready for the weekend.
We did, however, use Sat as an opportunity to both see our good friends, Gabe and Maggie, and to exercise our creativity. We prepared some Indian cuisine with a clear-set plan in motion for the night: a Brady Bunch-themed photo shoot. This all came about a couple of months ago when we went to Maggie's house for veggie lasagna. She had a vision of a photo for her wall: all four of us positioned in the same fashion as Marcia, Carol, Cindy, Greg and the rest of the gang... you get the idea.
Ben set up his lights and we positioned ourselves in front of a white background. We each had to snap a shot with our heads facing 8 different directions: up, down, right top and bottom angle, straight to the right and the same on the left side. When done, Ben did some of his photoshop magic and Wa-la! Behold the final product:
Isn't it hilarious? I absolutely LOVE it! This is going in a frame and smack on our wall ...
